Free Speech Isn’t Free by Roosh V

free speech isnt free by roosh vI slowly tip-toed my way into the lobby of the W hotel. I made sure to not idle in case I was spotted by a mob of SJW’s out to blow my cover. Eventually, I peeked my head into a doorway and noticed Roosh darting around the room.

The conference room started to slowly fill up. Men were chatting about the lecture, books they read, DC (and how much it sucked) among other topics. Although not the most loquacious person, I introduced myself  to and chatted with a few reputable members of the RVF community like GMac and Tokyo Joe.

The lecture went off without a hitch. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the content, but Roosh mixed in a variety of his thoughts on game, the West, its women among related topics you’d see on his blog.

After the Q&A session we went up to the rooftop bar. It’s a spectacular view, and the vibe was great. I hooked a couple sets, talked to some other men, and overall had a great time.

I could never have imagined such profound outrage and hatred would stem from this event.

O’ Canada!

Though Roosh already had plenty of material the left could attack, SJW’s got a hold of Roosh’s ‘How to Stop Rape’ article. This allowed them to ‘definitively’ claim that Roosh was indeed a rapist and advocated raping others. Surely, few, if any of them actually read it, but it fit the narrative and thus Roosh had to be stopped at all costs.

In Free Speech Isn’t Free Roosh gives his first-hand account of this mob action. Though I followed the events of his time in Canada, I had no idea the degree to which he went to keep him and his supporters safe:

  • Roosh had daily disinformation campaigns.
  • He had informants feeding him information from inside the SJW community.
  • Bodyguards protected him in Toronto.
  • He utilized networks of operatives like he was the President conducting a national security operation.

Not to mention he spent many thousands of dollars to keep himself alive, and his business afloat.

The action of the far-left is truly heinous. Their actions know no bounds. But why?

Why are these SJW’s driven to such insanity over a misconstrued article?

The Puppet Masters

As someone who experienced the radical mob firsthand, Roosh had no choice but to delve into why there was such a fervor over his writings. After having a conversation with Jeff, a man who attended the DC lecture, the concept of government control and depopulation was planted in Roosh’s mind. It all started to come together.

As Roosh points out, all the policies which the left endorses contribute to a reduction in population:

  • Promoting the LGBT culture
  • Attacking straight (white) men
  • Making access to birth control easier among others
  • Mocking Christianity

The most stark example was from Berlin. There was a gay pride parade going on in the streets, with disgusting and lewd acts in public. Meanwhile Roosh and his followers had to hide in fear in a hotel to talk about sex and dating. Something insidious is controlling and pushing this narrative.

At all costs, this narrative must be maintained. It’s why the media went into high gear to pump out propaganda denouncing Roosh.

Politicians even came out and denounced Roosh:

…Members of the Canadaian establishment, once they located a man who posed an ideological threat, threw away the rule of law and basic sanity to stop him.

Again, surely these politicians didn’t actually read any of Roosh’s work. They just felt compelled to further the narrative. And if they had tried to defend Roosh they’d become a victim of the mob as well.

The media and politicians worked together in Canada, as they do here. They enabled their citizens to roam the streets with torches and pitchforks, with no regard for the safety of Roosh.

And for what?

It was because Roosh was allegedly a ‘Rape Enthusiast’. How on Earth anyone could believe that a rape advocate has many thousands of followers is beyond me. It’s clear that the social justice mafia has no intention of doing their research, let alone stopping to think about what they’re yelling.

The left doesn’t operate on logic. They operate on emotion. And though liberals claim their views stem from an altruistic nature, it has become abundantly clear over the years that the left is truly driven by hate, anger, jealousy and most frighteningly the desire to control all thought.

Free Speech Truly is Not Free

As Quintus Curtius points out in his superbly written Foreward:

‘The Canada lectures proved once again that each successive generate must “re-win” the rights that were assured by those who came before them. Right, once won, do not remain won forever.”

Too often we take the concept of free speech for granted. We crack jokes and post offensive comments online without really thinking twice about our freedom to do so (for now). But as we see with Roosh’s case, there could have been legal action taken against him.

In the USA we can still make crass and offensive remarks without threat of legal action, but we are not entirely off the hook. Instead of the government attacking us directly, we are subject to mob violence. Roosh’s family was threatened because of his writings and speech. Anonymous individuals threatened to burn their house down because ‘muh patriarchy’.

What True Brotherhood Looks Like

The lengths to which other men were willing to aid and stand up for Roosh was profound and admirable. It’s something all men should take to heart. Although Roosh did much of the grunt work on his own, his dedicated band of followers was able to implement maneuvers as means of disrupting SJW communication.

What really stood out to me was that SJW’s are incapable of doing the same. They don’t care about each other. They have no concept of loyalty, and if one of their own gets picked off, they’ll cry foul, but then move on.

The SJW mob is weak. Their true power, when measured individually, is quite laughable. As Roosh routinely mocks: Tens of thousands of Canadian SJW’s, aided by parliamentarians and mayors, could not stop Roosh from giving his happy hour speech.

SJW’s hide behind the façade of the internet. They leverage government institutions at those who toe the line. They’ll phone up someone’s employer, or ‘doxx’ their personal information just because someone said something mean.

Another takeaway from the book is that Roosh showed the power of having your own platform. He was able to run multiple articles via Return of Kings that put the hurt on Canadian SJW’s.

Take Aurelie Nix. After she levelled false accusations at Roosh, he struck back with ROK. Contributor David Garrett Brown wrote the article: ‘Canadian Aurelie Nix Falsely Accuses Roosh Of A Rape Threat With Help From Journalist Emily Campbell.’ Her transgressions will now follow her through the eternity of the digital age as that ROK article sits atop Google for her name. It’s clear that leftist governments will do nothing to punish those like Ms. Nix, but today we can fight back with the power of the internet.

A Shift in Mindset

You may have noticed Roosh’s blog writings have evolved from ‘Game’ to focusing more on Western civilization, religion, gender roles, globalization among other topics. You can clearly see why in the book:

“I said I started reading the Bible because I hit a dead end with science. It was taking too much faith to look at a scientific theory, especially in biology, and declare, ‘Yes, this is absolute truth.’

“In 500 years from now, a lot of what we believe to be scientific truth will certainly turn out to be false, so people who live by science today are in all likelihood living comfortable lies, and using those lies to structure their lives.

“Instead of having faith that humans evolved from that soup and accepting it to live a life that includes pain, suffering, and death, how about instead I find out the rules, beliefs and traditions that sustained modern humans for so long, and identify t moral code and values to live life in a way that serves me and gives me strength just as it served my ancestors, instead of making it up as  I go along with scientism, where people are…doing anything to alleviate their pain… and fear of death.

This is the path I find myself going down too. It seems a natural step after becoming disillusioned with Western society.

Additionally, it’s questionable whether Roosh would have gone through with all this if he was still entrenched in a nihilistic and hedonistic worldview. I doubt it. When pussy is put on the ultimate pedestal, why sacrifice your time, money and well-being to promote an ideology?

There are often references that Roosh and others make that suggest there was some sort of divine intervention in all this—one that guided Roosh through the chaos in order to help him usher in some larger goal. I think they may well be on to something.
